Technical diagnostics of the contactless transformer sensors blocks of geodynamic monitoring system

Orekhov A.A., Dorofeev N.V., Romanov R.V.

Monitoring systems of geodynamic objects built on the basis of multi-polar electrolocation equipment are widely used now due to the increased danger of technogenic catastrophes causing instability of geological structures. These systems consist of emitting electrodes and receiving contactless transformer sensors located directly in soil. Characteristics of the block components change over a wide range and sometimes fail due to severe service conditions of the sensors. The purpose of this paper is to develop technical diagnostics subsystem of the contactless transformer sensors blocks, allowing to identify characteristic deviations of block components from operational ones when operating geodynamic monitoring system on the object under control. It is important to identify block component failures transferring data to the central station.

Keywords: environmental monitoring, geoelectric control, geodynamic object, technical diagnostics.

Bykov A.A., Kuzichkin O.R.

The article developed the basic geoelectric models that take into account the seismoelectrical effect. These models are used in processing algorithms of the geodynamic information that can increase the accuracy of the estimates under the control of geodynamic processes and phenomena in the surface layers of the geological environment. The simulation of the action of longitudinal and transverse modes of seismic waves on the small particle environment. Describes the behavior of a one-dimensional model of the environment under the joint action of the longitudinal and transverse modes of seismic waves. Implemented a mathematical model of the two media under the action of longitudinal elastic deformation effects. The dependences of the relative change in the transmission coefficient for the two media from the electrical parameters of contrast media as resistivity and dielectric constant. Based on the findings of mathematical modeling proved high efficiency of seismoelectric effect in systems geodynamic control.

Ensuring aircraft safety in potential icing conditions

Pervushin R.V.

The paper presents a comparative analysis on identifying groups of meteorological parameters to assess their informational content on the state of the atmosphere in aircraft icing. For the effective remote detection of potential aircraft icing areas it is necessary to upgrade the existing board (active) meteorological radars. Estimating the effectiveness of the resulting passive-active system and the method of detecting dangerous areas is performed by reducing the uncertainty in the transition from one system to another. Entropy is used while assessing the level of uncertainty. The choice of processing algorithm of joint radiometric and radar system for remote detection of aircraft potential icing areas is reasoned. Discriminant functions serve as the basis of the algorithm for icing areas detection. Their relative characteristics are given. The application of non-linear discriminant function to detect icing areas is offered.

Keywords: aircraft, flight safety, weather conditions, aircraft icing, joint radiometric and radar systems, JRRS, discriminant function, the algorithm accuracy, detection efficiency.

Measures to reduce noise pollution in the technological process of threading

Ermolaeva V.A.

The paper gives a detailed analysis of technological process of threading pipes and characteristics of the production equipment. It presents identification and analysis of the occupational and environmental hazards and dangerous substances generated by the manufacturing process. Industrial noise and vibration levels have been estimated, their meanings being compared with the normative data. The system of occupational and environmental safety at the site has been developed as well as the system against the above-mentioned negative factors. In order to reduce the level of noise it is advisable to side the walls with semi-soft acoustic plates. The noise reduction value is determined through the application of sound-absorbing cladding. The potential risk of traumatic situations and occupational disease is reduced as well as significant effects of working conditions on workers’ health. The economic analysis of security management system under consideration has been conducted.

Keywords: noise pollution, technological process, sound-absorbing materials.

The ways to mechanize supporting operations of processing machines and food production lines have become an urgent problem. In many manufacturing companies, supporting operations are performed manually due to the shortcoming of existing machines. The paper considers the reasons for research and development of foodstuff transferring devices. They will perform a number of operations in the kinematic cycle: gripping, holding, transferring and releasing the item. The most important indicators of transferring devices will include efficiency, power consumption, accuracy of gripping and releasing operations. The ways to enhance the performance of theoretical methods for reducing energy consumption and technological machines are discussed. The ways to improve transferring devices are presented.

Integration of CAD and CAE models based on the development of STEP, XML, DXF format analyzer

Mustyukov N.A.

Much of the work in the field of automated design is devoted to the research of individual components of automated design systems (CAD), the development and improvement of mathematical models of design objects, algorithm implementation, creating databases, creating and configuring user interfaces. However, the formation facts of a complex architecture of CAD and interaction of its various components have not been properly studied. Integration components being responsible for data exchange between different groups subsystems, both own and third-party developers, take the central place in the architecture under discussion. The paper presents the software of interaction between CAD and CAE systems based on the analysis of STEP, XML, DXF data formats. The software allows to perform conversion of CAD-model in the desired CAE-model by simplifying and specifying significant layout indicators. This module is the basis for developing an integrated CAD.

Keywords: CAD-model, CAE-model, integration, data format, software, extruder.

Determination of hardness values of the transfer mechanism to assess the loading of heavy-duty production machines

Lukienko L.V., Isaev V.V.

The paper presents the results of analytical determination of gear rigidity index of the production machine feeding mechanism to estimate dynamic loading of a rack-and-pinion transfer system. The APM WinMachine software is used for this purpose. The analysis of the results shows that rigidity of rack-and-pinion and pin wheel considerably outdoes the rigidity of feeding mechanism gears. The teeth rigidity of the driving wheel of a rack-and-pinion transfer system depends on the load point and changes to 23.5%. The rigidity of a gear – pin wheel transmission is 32.27% higher than that of a gear – rack-and-pinion transmission system. The validity of received results is confirmed by the acceptable similarity of certain values of equivalent tension with the previous research results. The difference in values of equivalent tension doesn’t exceed 12.3%. It is advisable to use a three-mass dynamic model for further research work.

Keywords: modeling, rigidity index, feeding mechanism.

Experimental estimation of magnetic treatment effect on tool steels wear resistance

Zelinskiy V.V., Borisova E.A.

The article presents the results of an experimental study of magnetic-impulse processing effect on the wear of steel samples used for manufacturing cutting tools. Particular attention is paid to the methodological aspect of wear simulation in cutting process. Scientific basics of tribology are used, which provide maximum conformity with the actual cutting conditions in terms of wear and contact parameters. The description of experimental conditions and specific experimental methods are presented. They are used for obtaining new data on the effect of magnetic treatment on the wear of steels under study. Varying one of the factors of the magnetic field, that is the number of impulses, it’s possible to find out its significant effect on the wear value along with specifying the optimal number of impulses. A new interpretation of the reduction wear effect is presented. It is based on the adhesion-resistant surface secondary structure of a multiple-electron system. Its safety features are realized by the normalized energy distribution of the residual magnetic field and dissipated energy of tribocontact phenomena.

Keywords: magnetic treatment, sample, friction, wear, steel, impulse, tribosystem.
